Inspired by the beauty of Croatia, occo is a new, natural, luxury spa and lifestyle brand that has harnessed the rich natural resources of the unspoilt Dalmatian Coast and Adriatic Sea. Products are packed with plants, flowers and spices and formulations are at least 95% naturally formed. Sacred Sage, which grows wild on the hills of Dalmatia, has been used throughout for its therapeutic, anti-bacterial and healing properties.

While the retail range has launched first there are also occo destination spas in development in each of the six Croatian terroirs. The first spa – Raiyia in Dubrovnik – is scheduled to open in early 2011. Spas are also planned in the UK and in other parts of the world and a hotel amenities range will launch alongside the retail line later this year.

The collection has launched this month in Harrods, John Lewis, Fenwick, Wholefood Markets, Hoopers and Arnotts and is also available through beautyexpert.co.uk and cultbeauty.co.uk.

An occo boutique is also scheduled to open in London this autumn though the location has yet to be confirmed.

Formulated in the UK, all products contain a minimum of 95% natural ingredients and 100% natural fragrances, which have been created by a nose rather than being aromatherapy-based. They are also formulated without parabens, sulphates, petrochemicals and synthetic colours.

Dalmacija No 1 natural radiance skin care includes Radiance Boost Face Mask, Gentle Softwax Cleanser, Nourishing Rich Face Oil and Skin Repair Serum. The body collection includes a wide range of bath and body washes, oils, masks, creams, lotions, hair washes and conditioners, hand washes and lotions, candles, room fragrances and tree sap diffusers, with tree sap infused with fragrance absolute. Prices range from £15 – £39.
